Last minute my girlsfriend called me up and said someone backed out of the Phil Collins Concert and could I go? I was elbow deep in work, but said I would call back later that night and after work I headed off to a concert.

Now Phil just had back surgery so was sitting for the concert, but still has the voice!

It was just a streak of luck that I was able to go, and great seats I thought

It was packed, and everyone was respectful. I have not been to a concert for probably 15yrs, lol

Great because civility and respect is generally missing at such gatherings due to hooliganism. Best wishes 🌺🌺🌺

One of my biggest musical heroes! Glad you had the experience. And still having back trouble after 1994 surgery.

I am very glad to know he is still singing in the live!
He was one of my favorite musicians in line with Sting. Unfortunately, he hasn’t shown in Japan so long.

That would be great to see him there, he is still on tour, so who knows….

It was, he played everything I was hoping, even though I know there were so many more I loved as well!

What fun! There’s nothing quite like a live show. Looks like a great night out. And kudos to Phil Collins for performing after back surgery!

Yeah, you could tell he was in pain and having a real hard time walking, but still sounded incredible.

Hi Dave and Laura, I used to listen to Phil Collins and his music often gave me goosebumps. Wow, back surgery. No fun. He likely does not require the money from the concerts. Just loves live performances. The music and the energy must have been amazing!

He for sure does not need the $, but his son was playing the drums, so maybe he was doing it as a family thing…. his son was great, only 18 years old, but not Phil of course!
